Originally Bullwinkle’s, the 10,000-square-foot building sat vacant for years. The client requested the concept to reflect the vivid colors of Cuban artist Dixie Miguez and Mexican patterns. The entire interior was gutted and various levels were incorporated in order to subdivide the large space. Taking advantage of those multiple levels, enjoyable seating options of 12’ tall colorful egg-shaped booths, pub tables built around palm trees, as well as a unique mix of fun seating arrangements. Large murals of his bold and colorful paintings are placed throughout the restaurant. The bar boasts a dramatic large curved chrome finish canopy and a backlit glass bar back that rotate colors. The restaurant unexpectedly transforms into a nightclub on weekends, where various lighting effects sync with the music, providing a true dining and entertaining experience.
